Falling into Aleph

With the moment I first stumbled upon Coelho’s new work I knew it was meant for me to read it. Have you ever experienced the feeling of simply knowing that by taking a decision of paying attention to something would result in receiving the right message(s) at just the right time? It felt as if the book was talking to me.
It’s mind-awing what happens after one decides to let go of the mind (and the intertwined ego) and just lets things happen! It is as natural a process as breathing once you get a grasp. Letting things move through your consciousness and observing the experience from the outside, from an objective point of view, while being separated from one’s thoughts and emotions, is not a simple thing to put into practice, though…
One of my favourite book quotations (and something to hold on to in life):
Don’t be intimidated by other people’s opinions.
Only mediocrity is sure of itself, so take risks and do what you really want to do.
Seek out people who aren’t afraid of making mistakes and who, therefore, do make mistakes.
Because of that, their work often isn’t recognized, but they are precisely the kind of people who change the world and, after many mistakes, do something that will transform their own community completely.
